Homework: Pre Calc is an advanced college-level math course. You will have homework six nights a week (Sunday-Friday). Homework the day before class (i.e. Sunday night or Tuesday night) is to prepare you for class the following day. Usually this is exposure to new material. Homework the day of class (i.e. Monday or Wednesday) is practice from the concepts learned during class that day. You will have extensive time in-class to complete this, and should rarely have to finish at home. As long as you are using your time in class wisely, you should only have work at home Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Lesson: If you are absent, the lesson videos are here for you to learn the concepts you missed during class. Watch the videos and complete the associated practices. If you are still struggling, schedule time with me. The lessons are also available if you are struggling with a concept and need additional instruction.
Classwork: This is the work we will be completing and turning in during class. If you are absent, you are responsible for first watching the lesson, and then completing the classwork.
Exam: As an advanced math student, you are responsible for making up exams BEFORE the day that you will be absent. If you are sick, you must make up the exam on the day or the day after you get back. Email me immediately to arrange this. A zero on an exam will be detrimental to your grade.
